GIF Images Not Working?
Hello, I just started using GIMP last night and while I've made a few animated GIF's and they've worked correctly, any time I try to make an animated GIF now, all I do is run into problems with any images I use. I use GIMP 2.8 by the way.

When I go to open layers and add the multiple images I want, they now look like this:

I'll show you an example:

What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this? This happens not just when I use GIF's with couples in it, but now when I do single people, too. Please and thanks for any help.

PS: I don't know what to tag this, so please excuse there being no tags.

Are your multiple images being anchored to the same layer or added to different layers? Generally, you want your layers to be the same size. In this image, you have the layer with the couple, and it is large, and the next layer is smaller.

Viewing each layer separately is usually important when dealing with animated gifs.

I have no idea if they're the same layer or different ones. Should I go back and resize all my images before adding them to GIMP?

Your layer window (which is probably off to the right) is the main window of interest when doing animated gifs.

This tutorial is not terrible.

Thanks for the link. I'll try it out.
